Autosis

Autosis is a type of cell death highly dependent on autophagy and the Na+/K+-ATPase pump.

Described in 2013, it has been found in pathologies such as ischemia or anorexia nervosa. However, we still do not know its molecular mechanisms.

Therefore, one of the main objectives of AU·SIS is the molecular characterization of autosis, so we can better understand its causes and regulation, and apply this new knowledge in the clinic.
